Dear Friends of Saravá!,

I hope everyone is enjoying the Tucson spring, and not suffering too badly from all the allergens in the air!

In April, our schedule is as follows:

Friday, April 11th from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Hacienda del Sol .  Contact us for directions, if you need them.  Reservations are recommended.  We’ll be playing  outside on the terrace.… ask to be seated where the Brazilian music is!   There is no cover charge.

Richard Sullivan will no longer be playing with Saravá!  We will miss his amazing flute playing, of course!  Try to catch him when he plays with some of the excellent, upbeat Latin music groups in town.  Meanwhile, I am pleased to announce that Greg Armstrong (www.gregarmstrong.com) will be joining Saravá!, and he will be with Bill Ronstadt and myself on this evening of April 11th.  Greg is well know in the Tucson jazz community, as well as in the classical/pops community.  He brings many years of professional saxophone, flute and clarinet playing and teaching to our group and we are very lucky to have found him.   

Saturday, April 12th, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Ric’s Café.  Located at the Northeast corner of  Craycroft & River.  No cover charge.  Reservations are recommended.  I am sure we will be back outside at this point, on their very pleasant terrace.  Greg (flute, saxophone, clarinet) & I will be joined by Billy Martinez on hand percussion.
